Web Hosting Goes Carbon Neutral
From April 1st 2011, we have switched our servers to a more eco-friendly solution, in these days of green conscious issues, we feel its a benefit to all of our clients and gives them the confidence that the hosting is running at 100% carbon neutral.
Our primary focus was to ensure all of our clients websites are fully working on the new system and there will be no drop in broadcasting, there may be a few small minor issues with emails, which are just down to a small number of settings on your own pc, all emails are still being received and will be ported over to the new servers, when the switch-over is occuring.
Changed Email Settings
** You only need to change these settings if you are experiencing problems with the sending and receiving of emails **We have supplied a pdf format below if clients wish to amend these minor settings themselves, its fairly straght forward and easy to apply. If you prefer not to tackle these issues yourself, then please call us on 02380 452719 and we can arrange a convenient appointment time to correct these settings for you.

There are a few important changes to the new servers, and we feel they offer a lot more security for our clients and their information, and a lot more facilities which will also benefit them. One such security measure we really like is a secure FTP, which only enables the transmission of data when the FTP has been unlocked by the user.
Control Panel
The Control Panel for client login is currently down and we are working on getting this area back up and in full operation as soon as possible, the previously supplied username and password will have no effect under the new system, but we have kept all of your email accounts and passwords exactly the same, there is just a slight amendment to the Pop3 and SMTP protocols and also a slight modification to the individual usernames.
We will send the new hosting settings including access point and all relevant user names and passwords shortly.
